Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to suggest my idea to help the college reduce the amount of plastic bottles thrown away.

A good idea to achieve this is to promote the use of reusable bottles. The college can install water dispensers in strategic parts to make it easier to find them, for example, in the cafeteria, hallways, near classrooms, etc.

By using reusable bottles, students will not need to buy bottles of water everyday and the number of plastic bottles will significantly be reduced and our college will be following the government regulations. We will also be helping the environment.

To motivate students, the college could give free reusable bottles so a good amount of students might use those and the would get encouraged to use them. Another great form is to stop selling bottles of water so student should have to use a reusable one.

In conclusion, by motivating and promoting the use of reusable bottles, the college will be aligned with the stricter regulations and less plastic bottles will be thrown away.

I hope my ideas be taken into account and our college become eco-friendly.
